We know what the common stressors for the LGBTQ+ community are: Concealment, Expectations of Rejection, Internalized Stigma, and Discrimination, Prejudice, and Microaggressions. Often times, multiple stressors are felt at the same time.

This is especially true for people that have multiple marginalized identities. For LGBTQ+ people who are BIPOC or disabled, for instance, it can be particularly difficult and you may experience stressors stemming from multiple systems of oppression.

Clearly, stress can come from many places. Sometimes it’s related to being LGBTQ+, and sometimes it's not. This activity can help you see the difference.
