Here are a few ways people are identifying and expressing themselves
-
Luke, he/him/his, 17, FL — I love this outfit because not only do I feel stylish, but I also feel masculine and attractive. Early in my transition many of the clothes I wanted to wear made me experience gender dysphoria, even if they were "typically" masculine clothes. But now I'm able to wear an outfit that makes me look and feel good while presenting masculine, which makes me incredibly ecstatic.

Chloe, 14, they/them, NC — My gender identity shines through because I felt like I was able to have a haircut which was really a big part of my journey. And I am able to have a nose piercing, which definitely makes me more than happy.
-
Jackson, he/him/his, 16, PA — This is an image of me with my favorite nails I have gotten! I hate stereotypes such as the fact that boys shouldn’t get their nails painted since it is seen as a feminine trait. I love getting my nails done as it is something where I can express who i am!
-
Carmen, she/they, 17, VA — This shows my gender identity because I enjoy dressing masculine and feminine but usually more masculine because it usually is more comfortable and I just really like that style. This outfit was just baggy pants and a shirt and I really liked wearing it and feeling masculine
-
Ashley, any pronouns, 18, NY — I occasionally dress really girly and other times I prefer to dress more masculine. I feel like myself with both. I kinda get happy when people get confused about what gender I am. I kinda walk more masculine when I’m wearing different boyish clothes and I kinda like it!

Mina, he/she/they, 19, HI — I recently got a wolfcut and it gives a more androgynous look to it, which I really love. The outfit is layered and isn’t entirely masculine nor feminine in my eyes(sorta neutral). With the little extra accessories(like dangly earrings and necklaces) and my makeup gives a bit of femininity. But overall a very neutral look for me and i felt very confident(maybe a bit cocky heh).
